Know Your Status: World AIDS Day 2013
Published on Friday, November 22, 2013 - 9:30am
On World AIDS Day each year, communities throughout the United States come together to raise awareness and remember loved ones who have been affected by HIV/AIDS. The Centers for Disease Control estimates that more than 1.1 million people are living with HIV in the U.S with 1 in 5 people infected unaware that they're positive.
Help us raise awareness on Dec. 1 this year in Teen Space with free and confidential HIV testing, a sexual health informational session with interactive activities, and games for prizes.
HIV testing will be 1:30 p.m.-4:30 p.m. with sexual health 101 and activities starting at 2 p.m. Get a free gift card when you're tested.
