Win Tickets To P!nk And Beyoncé

Library Giving Away Tickets to Promote Downloadable Music

Did you miss out on getting tickets to the upcoming Beyoncé or P!nk concerts at the Verizon Center? Now through Dec. 7, the DC Public Library is giving away two tickets to both shows as part of The Great Fall Concert Ticket Giveaway.

To enter the contest, library card holders need to log in to Freegal Music using their library card number and fill out an online entry form. Entries for the P!NK: The Truth About Love Tour will be from Nov. 1 through Nov. 14. One winner will be selected for two tickets to the Nov. 24 P!nk concert. Entries for Beyoncé: The Mrs. Carter Show will be from Nov. 24 through Dec. 7. One winner will be selected for two tickets to the Dec. 18 Beyoncé concert.

The Great Fall Concert Ticket Giveaway is sponsored by the DC Public Library, Freegal Music and Sony Entertainment. Through Freegal, library cardholders have access to more than 2 million songs from Sony Music's collection and more than 10,000 independent labels. Library users with valid library cards can download up to three music tracks each week — 156 songs a year — on their MP3 players or computers at no cost from the library’s website, dclibrary.org. Library users can keep the music they download.  The files never expire.

The contest is open to individuals 18 and older with library card accounts in good standing.  For more information, click here.
