Come Write In!
Published on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 - 2:47pm
Are you taking part in National Novel Writing Month this November? Looking for a quiet, encouraging space to write your novel?
Then visit the Georgetown Neighborhood Library on Wednesday evenings for our Come Write In sessions! Every Wednesday in November, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., we reserve tables in our Second Floor Nonfiction Reading Room just for NaNoWriMo participants. There, writers will find a selection of creative writing titles, as well as the free wifi and table-top charging stations that are always available.
Need anything else?
Whether you are looking for information on a topic for your novel or just want to know where you can get another cup of coffee, library staff is always available to help.
Finally, while you're writing, don't forget to check out National Novel Writing Month @ DCPL to learn more about how DC Public Library is supporting NaNoWriMo and to register to win DCPL prizes, including a Finish-It Toolkit to help you turn your novel into a finished, printed book!
