STEM Programming is getting a little help at the William O. Lockridge/Bellevue Library from the US Naval Academy. National Society for Black Engineers members affiliated with the US Naval Academy will be coming to talk about various programs and activities that they are working on.
But, what is STEM?
STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. The skills that are involved in these disciplines are becoming more valuable and important as we move into the future!
You can use the library to develop these skills on a regular basis. Who knows? You might learn something you find incredibly interesting. Check out books below and this great list of resources and information designed for teachers and interested parents from PBS. In addition, be sure to come to the Bellevue library and get a calendar with Mastering Math program dates.
