November Teen Programs
Fall is a busy time for everybody but don't forget to come by Francis Gregory Neighborood Library with your teens for fun and free programs and events. Thanks to the more than 100 people who came out for the Teen Advisory Group Halloween Haunted House on Tuesday, Oct. 29 – we had SUCH a blast!
Here are some upcoming programs for teens this month:
- Join us for Thursday Art Workshops with Albus Cavus @ 5:00PM in the Teen Space. We will create Van Gogh masterpieces (11/14), weave and knit (11/21), and create snowflake fractal stencils (12/5).
- Thanksgiving week, we will do a cool holiday craft involving photo portraits and tag word clouds. And of course, every Thursday at 6:30 p.m. is Teen Advisory Group! Come by and get community service hours for planning and participating in teen library programs.
Remember that November is NaNoWriMo - so get your writing on! Teens can win prizes by writing all month, but you have to register at both the Young Writers Program website and dclibrary.org/nanowrimo. Good luck!
