Step into the Library's Art, Music, Literature and Film Online Resources

Interested in Art History? Want to listen to songs by your favorite musicians? Need to do some research on great authors? How about watching videos with your favorite actors, directors, and more? Come to the computer lab in room 311 for hands-on instruction on these great topics.

You will learn how to:
  • Log in to the library’s online research databases using your DC Public Library card and PIN.
  • Search for information in many of the library’s art, music, literature, and film related databases like Art Full Text, Literature Resource Center, Oxford Music Online and Video in OverDrive.
  • Save, email and print articles for you to keep for further reading and researching
Required Skills: The ability to read and comprehend English well, and must be a DC Public Library Cardholder. Basic computer skills and previous experience using a web browser is preferable.

Please bring your own flash drive to save documents created in class or send class documents to your established email account.
