Introducing...the Aspiring Writers Circle!

New and improved networking group for all writers starts this month

AWC LogoSound familiar? Well, it should. The Aspiring Authors Circles established in October to support Fiction Writers, Poets, Bloggers, and Playwrights have now consolidated into one because there is strength in numbers. The name has been changed to accommodate all writers.

Have you started or are you ready to self-publish your memoir? Do you pen poetry in your quiet hours or do you dream of creating the next Huffington Post?  Want to write historical fiction or a family epic? Collecting research on a political biography?  Whether you’re contemplating publishing digitally or in print, never published or recently published, this Circle is for you.

A place for peer support and networking for new and emerging writers, the Circle meets the second Tuesday of every month and is open to Playwrights and Poets, Bloggers and Freelancers, Children’s authors and Graphic Novelists, Fiction and Nonfiction writers.  Join us to take advantage of classes, resources and support (not to mention the knowledgeable staff) offered by the Library to help you achieve your dream.

The first meeting of the new and improved group will occur on Tuesday, Dec. 10 at 6 p.m. in the Digital Commons, which is located on the first floor, just off the Great Hall. As always, a quiet space will be provided elsewhere for those who prefer working to networking on the meeting day.

Are you ready to write the next chapter in your life? If so, please join us for this great adventure. Laurels may follow.
