Need help figuring out your latest research paper assignment? Not sure where to look for information on your topic? Or haven't even picked out a topic?
The Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library is proud to announce its inaugural writing center on Feb. 19, Feb. 26, and March 5 in room 209 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Some of our services include research and thesis development, paper writing strategies, print and online resources, and proofreading assistance. We will work with you one-on-one for approximately 30 minutes at a time on a first come, first served basis.
If you attend, we ask that you bring any notes, research, outlines, bibliographies, writings, or handouts you have pertaining to your assignment to help us better understand your research and writing goals. We won't do your assignment for you, but we will do our best to help you succeed!
Can't make it to the writing center? Check out these helpful resources available online and through the library:
- Purdue OWL (online)
- Bedford/St. Martin (online)
- They Say/I Say: the Moves That Matter in Academic Writing (at the library)
