E-reader Rescue Weekend

Kindle Fire HDDid you receive an e-reader or tablet over the holidays? Would you like to use it to access library e-books and other digital resources?

Then join us this weekend from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 4 and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 5. Library staff will be available to provide one-on-one instruction on downloading e-books and electronic audiobooks to Kindles, iPads, Nooks, and other devices, as well as assistance with other digital library resources like Freegal and Zinio

All you need to do is bring your library card, device, and--if you are using a Nook--your laptop and USB cord. Please also make sure to know any relevant passwords--for instance, if you are using a Kindle, you will need to know your Amazon password.

Questions? Email julia.strusienski@dc.gov or call the library at 202-727-0232.
