Ever wanted to make a meal just for yourself, but can’t find the cookbook to do it?
Come join us at the Georgetown Neighborhood Library for a cooking demonstration, author Q&A, and book signing with Joe Yonan, Food and Travel editor at the Washington Post, and author of the new cookbook Eat Your Vegetables.
Joe describes his cookbook as an eclectic collection of “vegetarian and vegan recipes for singles as well as lone vegetarians in meat-eating households." (Don’t fear meat eaters, there are also suggestions for you.)
Featuring 80 recipes, this cookbook is a great fit for those looking for easy vegetable-centric recipes.
Mollie Katzen, author of The Moosewood Cookbook and The Heart of the Plate says of Eat Your Vegetables:
“I love everything about this book: the concept, narrative, context, voice, look, and feel. Then there are the recipes—so inviting, I just want to start at the beginning and cook my way through the entire batch. And as if we need a bonus, Joe’s personal warmth and intelligence shine through all of this like a big embrace.”
Come join us Sunday, Feb. 2 at 3 p.m.
