Basic Programming and Web Page Design

Get a basic, hands-on overview of the HTML, JavaScript, and CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) programming languages and discover their inter-related capacity to produce dynamic web pages. Seats will be filled on a first-come, space-available basis.

Required Skills: The ability to read and comprehend English well, and the skills acquired in PC Basics, Word I Basics, Word II Intermediate, Web I Basics, Web II Intermediate, and Email Basics. A significant amount of typing is required!

You will learn to:

  • Insert HTML tags
  • Insert JavaScript codes into HTML elements
  • Apply CSS syntax to HTML elements
  • Insert various style sheets using CSS
  • Save your enhanced .html document to your flash drive or send them to your email account.

Please bring your own flash drive to save class documents or send them to your established email account.
