Ever wanted to take the next step in your knit work with those cool twists and turns, but didn't know how or know where to start?

The Knitty Gritty Committee is here to help! For February, MLK's knitting circle will explore cabling! 

We'll share:
  • Basic cabling techniques
  • Faux cables
  • Cabling in crochet
  • Patterns for basic and intermediate cablers
  • Print and online resources for learning how to cable
February's knit leaders will offer demonstrations in February's first session (Feb. 10), along with some quick projects to practice your new skill. Even if you are familiar with cabling, or have another project that you're working on, bring your materials and enthusiasm and join the fun!

The Knitty Gritty Committee meets every second and fourth Monday of the month, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Great Hall (right outside the Digital Commons). Knitters and crocheters of all levels are welcome.
