Georgetown Professor Maurice Jackson presents the Black History Month Keynote Lecture

maurice jackson photoOn Wednesday, Feb. 5, at 6:30 p.m., we are delighted to present the Black History Month Keynote Lecture by Georgetown University Professor Maurice Jackson.

Dr. Jackson will speak on the topic, "Great Black Music and the Desegregation of Washington, D.C."

Professor Jackson is the author of Let this Voice Be Heard, Anthony Benezet, Father of Atlantic Abolitionism and is currently at work on a social, political, and cultural history of African Americans Washington, D.C.

This exciting program will take place in the Great Hall.
