Year of the Horse Party Wrap Up
Partygoers read My Chinese New Year to learn about some of the holiday's traditions, saw a puppet enactment of the story of the 12 zodiac animals' swimming contest, and sang and played bells along to the Happy Chinese New Year song and a traditional dragon dance.
We also sampled traditional Chinese snacks such as hundred year eggs and sachima sweet cakes. At the end of the party, everyone got a lucky red envelope filled with special treats.
The Watha T./Shaw family wishes you and your families a very happy and auspicious Year of the Horse!
