Capitol Hill Reads Book Club

Southern Cross the DogJoin us for a new book club for and by the book lovers of Capitol Hill. Every month, we will read a different book, in a different location on the Hill.

Discussion will be led by staff from a variety of our neighborhood's most bookish, including staff from the Southeast Neighborhood Library, Northeast Neighborhood LibraryRiverby Books, and others. 

Our September title is Southern Cross the Dog by Bill Cheng: Convinced that he is cursed after the Great Mississippi Flood of 1927, 20-year-old Robert Chatham, who, constantly followed by trouble, has lost his will to live, finally shakes his demons until he is forced to make an impossible choice. .
