Capitol Hill Reads Book Club

Thursday, Nov. 20, 2014, 6:30 p.m.

Join us for a book club for and by the book lovers of Capitol Hill. Every month, we will read a different book, in a different location on the Hill.

Discussion will be led by staff from a variety of our neighborhood's most bookish, including staff from the Southeast Neighborhood Library, Northeast Neighborhood LibraryRiverby Books, and others.

Our November title is Transatlantic by Colum McCann. A tale spanning 150 years and two continents reimagines the peace efforts of democracy champion Frederick Douglass, Senator George Mitchell, and World War I airmen John Alcock and Teddy Brown through the experiences of four generations of women.

In November, we will meet at Northeast Branch Library at 330 7th St. NE. You can pre-register at Meetup.com.
