Capitol Hill Reads Book Club
Join us for a new book club for and by the book lovers of Capitol Hill. Every month, we will read a different book, in a different location on the Hill.
Discussion will be led by staff from a variety of our neighborhood's most bookish, including staff from the Southeast Neighborhood Library, Northeast Neighborhood Library, Riverby Books, and others.
Our September title is Southern Cross the Dog by Bill Cheng: Convinced that he is cursed after the Great Mississippi Flood of 1927, 20-year-old Robert Chatham, who, constantly followed by trouble, has lost his will to live, finally shakes his demons until he is forced to make an impossible choice. .
In September, we will meet at Southeast Library at 403 7th St SE. You can pre-register at Meetup.com.
