Salt: A World HistoryJoin us as we discuss the New York Times bestseller Salt: A World History by Mark Kurlansky. This book focuses on the impact that salt, the only rock we eat, has had on human development.

Looking at salt's influence on everything from art to politics to economics, this global history considers this mineral in the context of the majority of the world's cultures.

Reading the book is highly encouraged, but all are welcome to take part in the discussion.
