Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss!

Honor his memory by reading some of his most beloved works. Please visit our new display area to find some of our favorite Dr. Seuss materials (near the Picture Books in the Children's Room)!

Did you know that the Geisel Award is named after Dr. Seuss? The Geisel Award is given every year to the author(s) and illustrator(s) of the most distinguished American book for beginning readers published in English in the United States during the preceding year.

This year's winner was The Watermelon Seed by Greg Pizzoli.
