Get Your Knitty Gritty On
Published on Thursday, March 6, 2014 - 10:27am
Come join the Knitty Gritty Committee (KGC) during the month of March to celebrate National Craft Month with yarn bombing. Yarn bombing can be as easy or elaborate as you want it to be which makes it a fun fiber craft for anyone and everyone regardless of your skill level.
Come knit (or crochet) some library-related objects in order to decorate the Popular Library new book display. Your creations will be on display for the public to see throughout the entire month. Yarn bombing at its core is all about enriching and giving to the visual aesthetic of the space around you so don't be sad if one of your creations disappears while on display.
Just make another!
The KGC meets on the second and fourth Monday from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., so come yarn bomb with us on March 10 and 24. As always, participation in this specific project is not mandatory so feel free to bring your own personal projects. Come meet us in the Popular Library for this month's yarn bombing craft and discussion.
See you there!
