National Poetry Month: Capitol Hill Poets' Homes

Tuesday, April 22, 2014 - 7 p.m.

Kim Roberts and Dan VeraDan Vera and Kim Roberts of DC Writers' Homes will share stories and poems from the authors who lived right here in Washington, D.C., along with a slideshow of their residences still standing today.

This program will focus on the poets who lived and worked in the Capitol Hill neighborhood such as Francis Scott Key, Muna Lee and Robert Sargent, as well as some U.S. Poet Laureates, such as Conrad Aiken, Stanley Kunitz and Stephen Spender.
