Here is the photo-booth we set up at the Juliet Grey author talk from our Feb. 25 event!
Rumor has it she may turn up for another author talk at Georgetown Library Branch...look out for it!
Below we have our awesome panelists from our National Women's History Month event on March 6.
The panel was "Is Feminism a Dirty Word?" with Christina Larocco, a women's studies and history lecturer at the University of Maryland as well as a Museum Assistant at Sewall-Belmont House and Museum; Jess McIntosh, the communications director at Emily's List; and Claudia Williams, a research analyst at the Institute for Women's Policy Research.
There was awesome interactive conversation about current and past feminist values and practices!
And of course again we had a photo booth set up so patrons could walk away with some memorable Polaroids!
