Poets on the Fringe Celebrate

If you love contemporary poetry, then come listen to the Poets on the Fringe, a group of local poets who celebrate National Poetry Month by reading their poems at the Georgetown Neighborhood Library.
Poetry readings have been popular through the decades all over the world. Poets have met in salons, pubs, coffeehouses, and universities. And here they are, meeting in libraries, to continue the tradition of delivering poems both on platform and on the page.
The Poets on the Fringe are a group of local established and emerging poets who meet on Monday evenings at 7:00 p.m. at the Stoddert Elementary School. They are a lively bunch of dedicated poets who offer one another useful critique and support.
Pamela Passaretta, Edna Small, Rosalie Werback, Ginger Ingalls, Anne Garner, Alec MCrae, Cary Kamarat, Don Rosendorf, and Herb Guggenheim will read from their works on April 28, 2014 at 7:00 pm. at the Georgetown Neighborhood Library.
