The Smithsonian Folklife Festival will be held this year between June 25-29 and July 2-6.
But that doesn't mean that the festival is the only place you can go to participate in the fun. Join us for a folklore inspired afternoon as we tell stories about various trickster characters such as Anansi, Raven, or Kokopelli.
Tricksters are mythical beings who are typically wily, tricky (what else!) or devious but they can also be heroic. After our stories conclude, we'll make a cardboard mask that you can decorate yourself.
Who knows - someone might just say you look like a trickster!
For ages 6 and older.
