Zumba Gold for Seniors

Are you 60 years of age or older with an interest in fitness? If that is you, come out in May on Wednesday mornings during Older Americans Month for Zumba Gold for Seniors.
Each year since President John F. Kennedy in April 1963 issued a presidential proclamation designating May as Senior Citizens Month, the nation has recognized the achievements and contributions of older adults through ceremonies, fairs and other events. In 1980, President Jimmy Carter renamed the month-long observance Older Americans Month.
During this occasion, many citizens seek to serve seniors in their communities by engaging in personal or direct activities. Seniors also participate. This year, the national theme is "Safe Today, Healthy Tomorrow." The focus is on injury prevention and efforts to help seniors observe healthy eating habits and to exercise.
If you are 60 years of age or older, be sure to join licensed Zumba instructor, Roshaunda Jenkins, weekly on Wednesday mornings at 10 a.m. May 7 through May 28 for fitness and fun!
