Jim Henson Movie Marathon

Kermit the Frog and Jim HensonJim Henson changed the art of puppetry forever. He helped introduce a show that transformed children's television. He created new worlds and the creatures that inhabited them.

He was a hometown boy, graduating from the University of Maryland and getting his professional start right here in local television. He brought both joy and humor into our lives.

He has been gone for almost 25 years, but his legacy lives on.

Please join us at the Tenley Library on Thursday, April 17 as we infuse our monthly movie marathon with some original Henson magic!
