Poetry Reading and Discussion with Garrett Phelan

Celebrate National Poetry Month at Southeast!

Join local author Garrett Phelan and the Southeast community in celebrating National Poetry Month on Sunday, April 27 at 2 p.m.

Phelan will read a few of his own poems as well as some of his favorites by other poets. The floor will then be open to the community to read a favorite poem and briefly talk about why it is a favorite.

Not sure what your favorite poem is? Check out some of these DC Public Library resources to find out!
