Germs Transmission and HIV Workshop

SMYAL LogoThe Sexual Minority Youth Assistance League, otherwise known as SMYAL,  will offer a series of workshops at various locations throughout the DC Public Library system.  These workshops will focus on how germs are transmitted and how they affect the body, with a special emphasis on HIV and AIDS. These workshops are part of the DC Public Library Teen Summer Program - Spark A Reaction.  Attending these programs will help earn badges to complete the program and earn prizes.     

These workshops are run by teens and for teens, and have a focus on the issues specifically concerning lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered and questioning youth.
