May Meeting

Cover of One Dead SpyThe last Thursday of the month kids ages 9 and up get together to talk about a graphic novel. This month we're reading and discussing One Dead Spy: The Life, Times, and Last Words of Nathan Hale, America's Most Famous Spy by Nathan Hale on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at 5 p.m.

Nathan Hale, the author's historical namesake, was a Revolutionary War hero and American spy who famously said "I only regret that I have but one life to lose for my country." before he was hung by the British. Author Nathan Hale takes a look at the unusual, gruesome, and just plain unbelievable life of the historical Hale, from his unlucky days at Yale to his unlucky days as an officer and spy for the American Revolution.
