Please join us in welcoming Dr. Neal Barnard to Cleveland Park Library on Thursday, June 19 at 7 p.m. Dr. Barnard is President of the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine, a non-profit based in NW Washington D.C. focused on ethical and humane research into the fields of nutritional health, reversing diabetes through diet, and cancer prevention. While the PCRM advocates for vegan and vegetarian diets you don't have to be an adherent to benefit from his insights on a plethora of topics from weight management to healthy lifestyles that minimize reliance on drug therapies.
Dr. Barnard is a regular speaker at college campuses, TEDx Talks, the author of 15 books on diet and health, and stars in three PBS specials, including Dr. Barnard’s Program for Reversing Diabetes.
