Do you enjoy reading about hometown Washington, D.C. history? The Cleveland Park Library has a new book discussion series on D.C. history!
The book we will be discussing is Mark Twain in Washington, D.C. by John Muller. Before Twain became a famous novelist, he was a newspaper correspondent here in Washington. DCPL's own John Muller, the author of the 2013 DC Reads selection, Frederick Douglass in Washington, D.C., will be joining us for the discussion!
Copies are available throughout the library system.
Our next meeting will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 15.
