Build models of plant and animal cells and learn how they are similar and different. Discover why cells are important for life. Use magnifying glasses to examine everyday things up close and microscopes to look inside the cells of plants and animals. Learn about bacteria and find out why some bacteria are helpful and others are harmful.
 
Advance registration required. Registration begins June 1. Come to the library to register or call 202-671-3125 for more information. Space is limited.
 
1:30 – 2:30 p.m. Level I (Grades 2-3)
3- 4 p.m. Level II (Grades 4-6)
