Book Carts for Capital Pride

Pride Book CartWoah! Who made that awesome book cart!?

The teens at Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Teen Space, of course!

This Monday, in our weekly Art Attack program the teens decorated a book cart that will be used in the Pride Parade on Saturday, June 7. Made with duct tape, ribbon, yarn, stickers, glitter, pipe cleaners, and plenty of love, this cart-o-splendor will certainly dazzle the crowds. Be sure to look for it on this year's parade route.

If you're feeling artsy come check out our other Art Attack programs and earn badges as a part of this year's Teen Summer Reading program. Art Attack is held every Monday at 4 p.m. in Teen Space. From duct tape crafts, to movie creation, knitting, and more, Art Attack has something for every artistic spirit.
