The Martin family purchase an android for menial household tasks but they realize, within days, that this is no ordinary android.robot and Sam Neill Andrew begins to experience emotions and independent creative thought. Over a lifespan of 200 years, Andrew discovers both the joys and sorrows of his now-controversial growing humanity. Based on a short story by Isaac Asimov and starring Robin Williams and Sam Neill, this film was made in 1999, is rated PG and runs approximately 132 minutes.
