Summer Science: Sinkers and Floaters

Friday, July 11, 2014 - 3:30 p.m.

Make your own boat out of clay, foil, paper, or cardboard; and then test the concepts of displacement, upthrust, buoyancy, density, and surface tension as we compete to see whose boat can hold the most pennies without sinking.  Because small objects are used, children participating in this activity should be age 5 and above.  Registration is required.
