Every Wednesday this summer the children's department will host a science program for ages 4 and up at 7 p.m. Each program will cover a different scientific concept and will include relevant books, music and hands-on experiments for kids to try in the library and at home.
June 25: Glow-in-the-Dark Bouncy Balls
July 2: Chromatography Crafts
July 9: Make it Rain: weather in the library
July 16: Build it: the science of architecture
July 23: Airplanes
July 30: Buried Treasure
August 6: Hot Air Balloons
August 13: Vibration and Dancing Oobleck!
August 20: Attack the Fort!!: Make your own catapult
