Campaigns that Drive Action - Events and Registration (Registration Required)
This 2.5 hour workshop, co-sponsored by Constant Contact, Inc., will reveal that allotting ample time for the promotional activities that will drive your registrations as well as creating and providing an optimal online registration experience are the dynamic duo of running a successful event.
Registration is limited to 36 participants and workstations will be assigned to registered participants first. Walk-in participants are welcome and all participants can feel free to bring their tablets or laptops.

At the heart of small business marketing are the campaigns that drive action. One important yet overlooked marketing campaign involves the running of well-organized and well-publicized events.
During this workshop, you will learn:
- The different types of events you might run
- How to set a goal for your event
- How to promote your event (including a sample promotional timeline and activities)
- How to set up an effective online registration process
- What post-event activities you can’t forget to do
Please Note: This session will not be addressing best practices around event planning topics, like venue selection, event entertainment or dining options, running fundraising activities, e.g. live or silent auctions, etc. This session is focused solely on helping you to promote your event and to streamline the online registration process.

Romona Foster is a social media trainer and consultant. She trains groups and individuals on how to use LinkedIn, how to market on Facebook, all about Twitter, Email Marketing, Pinterest, Google +, and Microsoft Office.
