LEGOs are a great tool for facilitating creativity and using your imagination, as well as a great way to promote Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). Many architects and engineers credit playing with LEGOs as children as a primary reason for sparking interest in their fields. Besides all of that, they are also just plain fun!
Join us for an hour of building and playing with LEGOs! Kids will be given a theme each session to guide their creations, which will be featured on our branch’s website. Our first session will be Aug. 7 and we will meet every Thursday.
And parents, if you have any LEGOs lying around the house unused and unloved, please feel free to donate them to us. We will thoroughly clean them and put them to good use.
