Change in Schedule for Friends Reading and Discussion Series

The discussion of The Hebrew Bible set for Wednesday, February 2, has been cancelled due to snow and rescheduled for Wednesday, March 3.  The discussions of the other works in the series have been postponed and set for different dates as follows:

Pierre Corneille's The Cid, March 31
D. H. Lawrence's Women in Love, April 21
Elie Wiesel's Day/The Accident, May 12
Phillip Roth's The Human Stain, June 2 

The discussions are still to be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the small meeting room on the 2nd floor and led by Ori Z. Soltes, resident scholar of fine art and theology at Georgetown University, on the the theme of "Eros and Eris: Love and Strife in Western Literature."   Copies of the books are  available at the reference desk at the library.
