Renew Materials

NEW: library customers can renew library materials up to 10 times, as long as no holds are on the items up for renewal.

(The renewals expansion only applies to physical materials that are already available for checkout; ebooks, e-audiobooks and other electronic materials are not eligible for the 10-renewals limit. The new renewal policy also does not apply to educator cards.)

Go to the catalog, and log in using your library card number and PIN.

Click on "My Account" at the top of the page.

The catalog will display your checked-out items. Click the checkbox of the items you want to renew.

Wait for the catalog’s response to be sure the item was successfully renewed.

To renew all eligible items: click on the "Renew All" button.

Library materials, including DVDs, may be renewed ten times. Renewed library materials will be due one full loan period from the date of renewal. (The renewal policy does not apply to educator cards, or to ebooks, e-audiobooks and other electronic materials.)

The following materials cannot be renewed:

  • Items on hold for another patron
  • Items that have been renewed ten times
  • Items that are extremely overdue

To renew materials your library card status must be GOOD. Cards may be blocked when customers have significant unpaid fines, numerous books are overdue or books are lost.
