Place a Hold
If the item you're looking for is checked out to another customer, or if you want an item sent to your home library branch, you can place a hold for that item. Make sure you give your e-mail address to your library, so we can e-mail you when the item is available. You can choose the nearest library to pick it up.
To place a hold, log in to the catalog, and then search to find the title of the item you wish to reserve. Click on the Place Hold link on the top right of the screen. If your search yields several titles, you must click on a particular title before you can see the Place Hold link.
When you click on Place Hold, a box will pop up. Choose a pick-up library from the dropdown choices. Click Submit to finalize your request. You will get a Hold Placed confirmation message.
