Save the Date: Author Talk

author Marcus WhiteMeet Marcus White. He is an author, father, son and citizen of our country who resides in Washington, D.C. and grew up in Northern Virginia. He is also a convicted felon. White has been out of prison for over ten years, working steadily ever since, and helped raise two daughters. Yet White still finds himself battling everyday with the compulsion to do wrong in order to live right.
 
On Tuesday May 18, 2010 at 7:00 pm at the Washington Highlands Interim Library, White will open a window into his life, feelings, experiences and lessons learned.

White is the author of Time Served: An Excerpt of a Prisoner's Life and Roots and Branches. He will sign and sell copies of his books after the talk.
