Summer Reading Registration Open
Published on Thursday, June 3, 2010 - 6:53pm
This summer promises to be a cool one when kids and teens sign up for
our summer reading programs. Kids from birth to age 14 can Make a
Splash and teens aged 12-17 can Make Waves this summer. Kids and teens
can get prizes for reading, even for reading some of those books on
your assigned summer reading list.
Saturday, the Washington Highlands Library is pleased to present the
first of our summer programs, Karen O. Brown, in her Book Waves
program. Kids and teens can learn various construction techniques to
make a pop-up accordion, and French-fold books using recycled materials. Be sure to join us at 1:30 p.m. on June 5.
