Let’s Talk About Books

Let's hear what you think about what you read! Come and share during our monthly book discussion on pre-selected novels, plays, poetry or short stories. Check the calendar, or call the literature staff at 202-727-1281 to find out which title is planned for the next discussion. The meeting is held at 2:30 p.m. on the first Thursday of every month, in room 221 of the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library. There is a kind of magic that occurs during many of these discussions—something exhilarating that happens through the sharing of widely diverse points of view. Find out why book clubs have blossomed across the country, and why your public library is a great place to have one!
