Upcoming Art Programs for Teens

Looking for something to do this summer? Come to the library and participate in some cool art programs.  On Tuesday, July 6 at 6:30 pm, make a Message in a Bottle.  Have you ever found a piece of paper left behind in a book by somebody else? A random note or letter?  How about a message in a bottle washed up on the beach?  We're going to create our own inspiring message, quote, or letter to a stranger, something that will brighten their day when they find it.  You can decorate the message however you like, then stick it in a bottle and leave it for a friend, neighbor, or even at a bus stop.  Then on Saturday, July 10 at 3:30 pm, come join Kevin Reese, guest artist, in making mobiles.  Use the theme of Making Waves to create nautical or beachy decorations for your room this summer. Hope you can join us!  If you aren't signed up yet, don't forget to ask about the summer reading program while you're here. If you complete your reading goal, you can win an MP3 player!  See Miss Heather for details.
