Celebrate Summer Reading's End with Ice Cream!
Published on Sunday, August 8, 2010 - 3:57pm
It's time for a party to celebrate the end of summer reading. Tuesday, August 30, at 3:30 p.m., we'll be dreaming up new ice cream flavors and indulging in ice cream sundaes with all the works.
Our new flavor creations will go up on the wall to make one giant ice cream cone that shows some of our favorite books from this summer. We will be mixing up some crazy ice cream madness with real ice cream sundaes in the Large Program Room.
If you have completed your reading goal for the summer reading program, now is the time to come and celebrate with ice cream, stories and some new flavors. For those who have completed their summer reading goal, your names will go in a raffle for prizes. Ask a librarian for details on how join in on the sweet end to our summer reading program.
