Daniel Akst
Daniel Akst is a member of the Newsday editorial board. Before joining Newsday, Akst was a columnist at the Los Angeles Times and later wrote frequently for the New York Times and Wall Street Journal. He is the author of "We Have Met the Enemy: Self-Control in an Age of Excess" from Penguin Press.
