A story time experience for our youngest library users and their caregivers. These 20-30 minutes story times introduce books, songs, rhymes, tickles and bounces developmentally appropriate for children ages birth to when they start walking.  Baby Lap Time is a wonderful way to introduce your child to the joys of reading in a positive and fun atmosphere. This story time is designed so the baby will be in their caregiver’s lap and the grownup is actively involved in the program; it is recommended that each child have their own adult with them.

Summer Adult-Child Yoga Program

The Palisades Library is piloting an Adult-Child Yoga class for the summer. Led by instructor Dexter Sumner, this class will guide adults and children through the basic principles of yoga, breathing exercises and poses. Learn the many benefits of yoga, from flexibility and strength to creating confidence and peace of mind.  All levels welcome. This class is recommended for adults and children 6 and older. Please sign up for the class in the Children's Room. Please wear comfortable clothing.

Join us at the library and read to real dogs! Our story time will begin by reading a story and singing songs together. Then, children will tell their own story or read to a dog. The dogs are from P.A.L., People Animals Love. They would love to meet you!
