Alfred and Emily Doris Lessing was born in 1919 in what is now Iran. In 1925, her family moved to what is now Zimbabwe.

She dropped out of school at 14, left home the following year, and moved to London in 1949. Because of her opposition to apartheid, she was banned from both South Africa and Zimbabwe.

At the time she won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 2007, she was the oldest person to have become a literature laureate.

All types of fabrics will be provided.
