As part of the Library's summer reading program, Dig Into Reading, children 12 and younger read a minimum of 8 hours (ages 6-12) or completed a minimum of 8 tasks (ages birth-5), based on their age group. The names of children who completed the requirements of their age group were entered into drawings on Aug. 24.
The winner of the drawing for a gift bag of books for the birth to 5 age group at the Rosedale Library was Lucas. Lucas loves to read books about trains, likes to read at the library, and his favorite book is Thomas and the Jet Engine by the Reverend W. Awdry.
