Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
SNAP helps low-income people and families buy the food they need for good health.
Nutrition.gov provides easy access to food and nutrition information from across the federal government.
D.C. Nutrition Programs
These programs provide older persons with nutritionally sound meals and access to other needed supportive services. These programs are at various locations throughout the city. Meals can also be delivered to persons who are homebound due to illness or other disability.
Senior Luncheon Program and Activities
These centers, funded by the D.C. Office on Aging, serve nutritious, well-balanced meals at the center daily, or will arrange for meal delivery to a homebound person. Contributions are encouraged.
