Paul Maline and Andrew Hess finalists for High School Heisman Award

Well, Long Island got some good news on Tuesday.
Of New York's 20 finalists for Wendy's High School Heisman Award program, two are from Long Island.
Paul Maline of Commack and Andrew Hess of Valley Stream South are now in the running to become state winners before the program moves on to the national phase.

Half Hollow Hills East quarterback R.J. Nitti, who passed for more than 1,800 yards and 16 touchdowns in seven games, will miss the rest of the season with a knee injury suffered in last weekend’s game against Lindenhurst.
Nitti, a senior, is being recruited by several colleges for a football scholarship and is hopeful of making a full recovery.
