There was more than a medal on the line in the fourth-place doubles match at the boys tennis state championships Saturday.

Long Island bragging rights were at stake as well.

Fourth-seeded Conor Mullins and J.P. Paris of Cold Spring Harbor, the Nassau doubles champs, beat No. 5 Jeff Cherkin and Kyle Alper of Half Hollow Hills East, the Suffolk champs, 6-3, 6-2, to secure fourth place...
